With an impressive 38 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Laurie Ausmus brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to her clients. Laurie began her career in 1986 as a Loan Closer/Funder, where she quickly advanced to management. Drawn to the more personable side of lending, she transitioned to a Loan Processor role, where she later managed five processing departments.

Laurie's entrepreneurial spirit led her to start a small mortgage brokerage in Bellevue, where she balanced roles as both a loan originator and business owner. Even during the financial challenges of 2008, Laurie continued her work in banking, but her passion remained in mortgage brokering. Now, she's thrilled to be back in the brokering business, providing her clients with diverse lending options and personalized service.

Laurie's dedication has been recognized by the industry, including her WAMP Business and Humanitarian Award for Women Originators in 2023 for King and Snohomish Counties and her ongoing membership in the President's Club since 2008. She is known as well-rounded, personable, and trusted, with an excellent reputation among clients and colleagues alike.

Outside of her career, Laurie enjoys biking, skiing, boating, and exploring her creativity through art. As a joyful grandmother to her two young grandchildren, she finds her life rich with both personal and professional fulfillment.
